Lord of the Ocean Max Win: Four Slot Ceilings
In short: Lord of the Ocean is a slot with four published ceilings rather than one. Two German licensees and Britain's Midnite print 5,000x the stake, Greentube's own casino Admiral carries x5010, its German pair carries x7387, and Slotmagie's record says 10044x.
You will find four different maximum wins for this slot, and every one of them comes from a licensed operator. The company that made the game publishes none, because the column holding that figure sits behind a business login.

Four Ceilings, None Agreeing
Four ceilings exist for this slot, and all four disagree.

Two German licensees print 5,000x the stake, and so does Midnite in Britain. Greentube's own British casino carries x5010 in its games API. Its two German casinos carry x7387 instead. Slotmagie's lobby record says 10044x. None of these is a ceiling in the way a reader expects one to work, because each belongs to the company that printed it rather than to the game. A page quoting one figure as the maximum is quoting somebody's deployment and calling it physics.
The arithmetic below is the only part you can check yourself.
Four numbers. One game. None of them from the firm that built it.
The 5,000x You Can Derive
The 5,000x is the one figure you can work out with the paytable open. Poseidon pays 5,000 times the line bet for five of a kind. A fully expanded Poseidon covers all ten lines, which gives 50,000 line bets. Ten line bets make up the total stake. Dividing 50,000 by ten lands on 5,000 times the stake.

We read those values off the client at 0.10 across ten lines, where Poseidon's five-symbol row shows 50.00. They match the binding game conditions Austria's state operator publishes for the same title, row for row. That is as close to a second opinion as this game offers.
Where x5010 and x7387 Appear
The two odd-looking figures live in operator data rather than in prose.
The Two Figures in Operator Data, Side by Side
| Operator | Brand owner | Figure | Field or location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Admiral Casino | Greentube Alderney | x5010 | maxWinMultiplier in the games API |
| StarGames | Greentube Malta | x7387 | Game card on the slot page |
| Admiralbet | Greentube Betting Malta | x7387 | Game card on the slot page |
| Löwen Play | Löwen Play digital | 7,387.00 at a 1.00 cap | Archived page of |
Figures current as of ; the operator's live terms prevail.
That Löwen Play page is an archived snapshot taken on , and it pairs a maximum stake of 1.00 with a maximum win of 7,387.00. Same multiplier, written out in money. Two Greentube brands plus that snapshot therefore point at x7387, while the studio's own British brand points at x5010, which is the whole disagreement in a single line. One date from the regulator settles how much weight that snapshot carries. The GGL whitelist pairs loewen-play.de with a first permit of , which is 47 days before the page was captured, so the 7,387.00 went out under a German licence rather than ahead of one. We haven't re-opened that lobby since, and that's the honest limit on it.
History counts, as long as it is labelled.
What the Maker Will Not Publish
Novomatic and Greentube publish no ceiling in public at all. The business page for this slot has a column headed Max. Exposure Multiplier. That column sits behind a login, next to the RTP and certificate fields. Everything a reader can check comes from licensees instead.
The disagreement is administrative as much as mechanical. Greentube organises its specification table by licence, so the return, the stake ceiling and the maximum-exposure multiplier are properties of one agreement rather than of the title, and they reach the public only when an individual operator decides to republish them. One column would settle the whole argument in a single line, and the only people able to publish it keep it behind a login.
And those licensees disagree with each other by a factor of two.
A £5 Cap and a Small Win
A British stake cap turns the multiplier into a money figure. A game cycle has been capped at £5 for players aged 25 or older since , and at £2 for anyone younger since . That is why Rank's panel reads "Max win: £25,000" instead of a multiplier. We do not recommend planning a session around any of these numbers. Our own run of 150 spins at 0.10 returned 10.85 of the 15.00 we staked, the free games stayed away, and the largest win we caught was 0.10. Exactly one stake back.

A hundred and fifty spins measure nothing about a ceiling, though they do show the ordinary end of this game. Against a theoretical return of 95.10%, a short losing run like ours is unremarkable.
